What can I say, it’s been an awesome seasons racing and we have finished 2024 GT Cup Overall Champions, GTC Champions and the team won the Team Championship, our sister car won the Sporting Challenge Championship and also the Sprint Challenge Championship.

Well, what can I say, qualifying was a none starter for me. Just pulling out of the garage to go down pit lane and the drive shaft snapped. So that was my qualifying session over, meaning I would be starting dead last in the sprint race.

Saturday qualifying was absolutely amazing for me, the session started off on time on the full grand prix circuit, which is extremely fast and flowing allowing us to really stretch the legs of the Lamborghini.

Friday free practise went really well, our new race engineer I had done some good changes to the setup of the car first to start with and as the day went on we was able to dial the car in and fine tune it's performance ready for qualifying on Saturday.

Well what can I say from being flooded by the great British weather, to Kavi being pushed off on the opening lap of the race, we and the Paddock sister car battled against pretty much everything the Silverstone 500 race weekend could throw at us.

Friday free practice went really well, we learn’t quite a lot with the new car and the set up changes we made throughout the day improved the car each time until we got to a setting that suited both myself and Kavi my teammate.

Practice on Thursday started off quite well but then the dreaded gearbox gremlin showed up again and we could not go up the gearbox. The BMW technicians along with the guys from Century worked on the issue and thought they had solved it only for it to come back in the afternoon session.

Well the weekend started off not the best with the car continually going into limp mode which caused the team and the BMW technicians from Germany some major headaches because nothing was showing up when they plugged the diagnostics into the car.

Well, the last round of the GT Cup Championship has come around really quickly and we are lying in fourth place in the GTH class and second place in the sporting challenge, mathematically the top spot is out of reach, but we can still finish in P2 with some hard racing and a bit of lady luck.

The test day on Thursday did not start off to well, Moh went out to do the 1st session and unfortunately about 10minutes in to the session he had an accident and damaged all the front of the car smashing the radiator front end etc.

We were back in action this past weekend for rounds 13,14,15 and 16 of the GT CUP championship at Silverstone on the Grand Prix circuit with Paddock Motorsport and my team mate Moh Ritson in the McLaren 570s GT4.

The morning warm up session consisted of the qualification laps that I needed to do and a few laps for Moh my team mate. Moh took part in the qualifying session for Saturday, setting a best lap of 1:59.443 which was good enough for him to be P5 which is where he would start the sprint race.

Brands Hatch played host to rounds 3 and 4 of the GT Cup Championship where I was back in action with my racing partner Moh Ritson and Paddock Motorsport.

My 2021 GT Cup Season exploded into action last weekend at Donington Park with Paddock Motorsport, making their GT racing debut with a pair of Mclaren 570 GT4’s, we made a big impression bringing home silverware with two class podiums thanks to Paddock Motorsport providing us with a great car.
